A very large diamond ring on a black background. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr I got engaged three months ago and, believe it or not, I have all major parts of my wedding planned! I am so happy that I do so I can enjoy being engaged and not stress over planning. My biggest trick was using my resources. You will be surprised how many vendors you can book just by asking for opinions and reviews from people who have recently gotten married or been in a wedding. A great example of this for me was my videographer. I was searching all over the internet for reviews and prices of videographers in my area when a girl I work with gave me a great referral! I went right to the videographer’s website to see short videos of other weddings she has done and got her price list. This gave me wonderful insight on what I can expect from her. I am beyond excited to see how my video turns out! I think another great way to avoid stress is to plan as much as possible right away. When we got engaged we set our date for 18 months later. This may seem like a long time, but this took the pressure off because I knew I would be able to get things booked early and have plenty of time to get them paid for. That is a HUGE thing for me since everything seems to be very costly in the wedding world. I am very excited to get married next fall, but I am even happier that I planned ahead and got everything decided on early. I hope you can take these few ideas and help with your “big day”!
