Fall is in the air, which means a whole new season of fun family activities is upon us!

Flushing Harvest Fest

Saturday, September 29 | 9:30 AM – 4 PM

Main Street in Flushing will be lined with homemade scarecrows created by the community and area businesses! There will be a chili cook-off, live music, fall crafts like pumpkin painting, an apple pie baking contest, and more!

 

Auto City Speedway’s “Maximum Destruction Halloween CandyRama!”

Saturday, September 29 | 4 PM – 10 PM

Auto City Speedway will have a family fun trunk or treat event beginning at 6 PM. There will be monster truck rides, push-pull races, school bus races, and more! Halloween costumes encouraged. For ticket information, call 810-686-9500.

 

Community of Angels – Movie Night at the Capitol Theatre

Wednesday, October 3 | 6 PM – 8:30 PM

From 6 – 7, all are welcome to explore the closing night of the photography exhibition, “Folks of Flint” by Dan White. From 7 – 8, Nicole Bowers Wallace will share two documentaries based on local families. For ticket information, call the Whiting Box Office at 810-237-7333.

 

All-You-Can-Eat Pink Pancake Breakfast!

Thursday, October 4 | 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM

Join us at ELGA Credit Union’s Administration Building on Thursday morning beginning at 7am for All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes for only $5! All proceeds will go towards the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Flint Walk on October 13th.

 

Davison Trunk or Treat & Pumpkin Festival

Friday, October 12 | 6 PM – 8 PM

Saturday, October 13 | 10 AM – 5:30 PM

Downtown Davison will come alive with local businesses hosting the 27th Annual Trunk or Treat and Pumpkin Festival! There will be inflatables, a photo booth, games, demonstrations and more! Costumes encouraged.

 

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk – Flint 5k

Saturday, October 13 | 10 AM

Registration begins at 8:30 AM. The walk will begin at the Downtown Flint DDA Lot located at 412 S Saginaw Street. To donate or register to walk, visit the Making Strides of Flint site at this link.

 

Lapeer Fantasy Forest

Saturday, October 13 | 11 AM – 3 PM

Rowden Park in Lapeer will come alive as a magical Halloween forest for kids. There will be sweet treats and familiar characters waiting to greet your children. Admission is $4 which includes goodie bags, treats, games, and a chance to win a free pumpkin. $3 tickets are available in advance at the ELGA Credit Union Lapeer Branch. The event is put on by Forty and Eight of Lapeer County which is a veterans’ service organization.
