Is this going to be all about weight loss? Healthy eating? The answer is none of the above. Leaning up your life is about finding different ways to make tasks you are currently doing easier and faster without a lot of effort! For example, are you the type of person who races around in the morning before work trying to get ready, eating breakfast, and packing your lunch all at the same time? I know a lot of days I am. One thing that I have found most helpful is to completely avoid multi-tasking. I know! How odd sounding is that? But if you stick to one task at a time, not only will you get everything accomplished, but you will find yourself with more time left over because you are not spending time going back and forth between tasks. At first this made no sense to me. I have always been a multi-tasker, but I really do have more time in my mornings now. It’s great! Another example could be as simple as how you have your workspace set up. If you’re right handed but your phone is on the left side of your desk, it’s not convenient for you. Moving a phone or another piece of office equipment may not seem important, but if you think about how many minutes you will be saving yourself in the long run, it really is! There are so many ways to “lean up your life.” Give it a try!
