Dear ELGA Member,

As we close the calendar on 2017 and look forward to the New Year, I want to take a moment to say thank you. I’m grateful for everyone who made 2017 such a successful year for ELGA Credit Union. This includes our ELGA associates, Board of Directors, business partners and most of all you, our members. It was a tremendous year of growth in membership and accomplishments!

We were excited when we celebrated the opening of our totally remodeled Davison Main branch in May. Then on June 5th, we followed with the opening of our new  full service financial center on Pierson Road in Flushing. These facilities are not only beautiful, but also functional for your convenience. The addition of Interactive Teller Machines has allowed us to expand teller hours for you. This team of tellers is serving members in all branches from our Davison office. They are delighted to serve you from 8am to 7pm. Members were thrilled when we opened up our newest office in Goodrich this August. The branch located on State Road allows us to be even more convenient for members in Southern Genesee, Lapeer and Oakland counties.

Growing our membership is a benefit to everyone. It allows us to provide more services to every member. This past year it was our pleasure to begin the transition of Saginaw Valley State Credit Union into ELGA Credit Union. This month the transition will be complete as we happily welcome all Valley State members to our family. This expansion not only increases our membership, but it also allows us to provide additional convenience to all our ELGA Credit Union members.

As you see it was a very exciting year. One for which we can all be thankful as we look forward to the new year of 2018. Our mission has always been to build lifelong relationships as we help you achieve financial success. We want to be a credit union you can take pride of ownership in today, tomorrow and for many years to come.

We are sincerely grateful for you allowing us to be a part of your life.

Let’s be sure to make it a GREAT New Year!

Sincerely,  Karen A. Church – CEO

After graduating from Western Michigan University with a BA in Communications, and spending nearly 10 years on the frontlines of the Flint & Genesee community as an Events & Social Media Manager, I was excited to join the ELGA team as their eMarketing Specialist. I look forward to continuing to build lifelong relationships throughout our community, and showcasing the ELGA way to the world.
