On Friday, October 12th, downtown Davison came alive with many people and businesses lining the streets for the annual Trunk or Treat. The ELGA team felt very fortunate to be included in passing out candy to thousands of children from 6pm-8pm. We chose the theme “Sesame Street” and turned our big ELGA truck into a giant Cookie Monster. Other decorations included Oscar the Grouch in his trash can, 1-2-3 pumpkins, and some Sesame Street stuffed animals.  To top off the theme, we had a real live Elmo!

Elmo the Friendly Monster

Elmo was a big hit! He was very enthusiastic and danced along to every song.  Kids came by to give Elmo plenty of hugs and high-fives. Our ELGA associates had a great time passing out delicious candy to all of the awesome trick or treaters who stopped by to see him. We brought a ton of candy to be sure we would not run out!

All Kinds of Costumes

There was a huge range of costumes between scary, cute, and funny. Most of the parents even participated and dressed up in costumes as well. ELGA felt very lucky to be invited to such a great event in our community. We were so happy to provide the kids with a safe experience where they got to dress up and collect candy from us and other Davison businesses. There were so many neat trunks decorated to make their experience that much better. ELGA had a fun, spook-tacular time and we look forward to doing it again next year!
