It was a warm and cloudy 50 degrees on December 2nd when 18 ELGA associates gathered to support the Light Up Lapeer Parade for the fourth year in a row. The event is sponsored by several businesses throughout Lapeer County to pay for the Christmas lights and decorations throughout downtown Lapeer.

The ELGA team met in the parking lot of Lapeer Dental on Saginaw Street, as they always do, and attempted to make the final touches on the parade float. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to get the inflatable to air up, and sadly had no float for the parade. This, however, did not stop all of the associates from having a good time and spreading lots of holiday cheer throughout the evening!

One ELGA associates little sister was deemed the Princess of ELGA for the day, and sat in the back of the truck, practicing her princess wave. It was a quick display, ending by 11:30am. Some associates had to run home for family parties, while a handful of associates met for a yummy lunch at Little Caesars in Davison afterwards to discuss our plans for next year’s float.
